Still need 2023 coverage?
Open Enrollment for 2022 Marketplace insurance is over. You can still get 2022 health insurance 2 ways:
- If you qualify for a Special Enrollment Period due to a life event like losing other coverage, getting married, or having a baby.
- If you qualify for Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). You can apply any time.
Use the checklist below to help you gather what you need to apply for coverage.
- Information about your household size. Figure out who in your household should apply before you start your application.
- Home and/or mailing addresses for everyone applying for coverage.
- Information about everyone applying for coverage, like addresses and birth dates.
- Social Security Numbers.
- Employer and income information for every member of your household (for example, from pay stubs or W-2 forms—Wage and Tax Statements).
- Your best estimate of what your household income will be in next year.
- Policy numbers for any current health insurance plans covering members of your household.
